1. Print out this page which teaches about the Pledge of Allegiance through pictures. Please color the pictures and write any questions that you have about the Pledge on the back of your paper. Turn in Monday.

View the following sites. Write 2 paragraphs in your social studies journal. The first paragraph should tell me what the flag means to you. The second paragraph should tell me how many starts and stripes are on our flag, and why. Turn in on Tuesday.

Week 2 Lesson Plan: Responsible Citizenship

Week of November 24-28

Concept 4: Rights, Responsibilities, and Roles of Citizenship

1. Listen to School House Rock perform the Preamble. After listening a couple of times, work in your small group to come up with a preamble for our class. This will need to be completed on Monday.
